Ericpol joins GENIVI Alliance as Core Member
Ericpol, the largest exporter of ICT services in Poland, joins GENIVI Alliance, a non-profit industry alliance committed to driving the broad adoption of In-Vehicle Infotainment reference platform. The alliance groups the world’s leading companies that shape the future of vehicle infotainment platforms, such as BMW, GM, PSA, DELPHI, Magneti Marelli or Continental, to name just a few.By joining GENIVI, Ericpol wishes to share its vast experience in the production of mission critical software with telematics industry leaders. ‘We will be leading Test, Verification and Quality Assurance activities in one of GENIVI’s work groups. We hope to add value to the alliance by contributing our 20-year experience in testing such systems’, says Marek Wodzislawski, Business Development Manager in Ericpol.
The GENIVI mission is to drive the broad adoption of an open-source development platform by aligning automotive OEM requirements and delivering specifications, reference implementations and certification programs that form a consistent basis for further open-source and ISV development. The whole automotive industry will benefit from the GENIVI platform, as it aims at resolving such crucial concerns as time-to-market or development costs.
